Most restaurants fail within the first 3 years. Based on information from the National Restaurant Association more than 7 out of 10 eating and drinking establishments are single-unit operations and 93% of eating and drinking businesses have fewer than 50 employees.
Why am I telling you this?
Competition is fierce and trying to find competent employees is going to get tough. The restaurants that have established training, have food services best practices in place, and flexible scheduling for employees are going to be the establishments that will grow.
So how do we we get there?
First you have to be willing to develop your employees. Be willing to set bench marks or goals to achieve and bring your employees along with you and share information.
Information is powerful. Training is powerful. Making the employee feel they are valued is powerful.
So you are asking while you are reading this blog for the first time, “Why? Why do I want to follow David Earl?”
I love sharing information. I love teaching people and I love it when your establishment has the tools to be successful. Wondering what you will see in the future? You will see tools for the front of the house and tools for the back of house – all created to help you with your business.
I have been waiting a long time to launch this website so I can give back.
If you are a person that is a life long learner, and always wanted to grow, but don’t know “How To” you are reading the right blog to get you going.
Thanks for checking in and looking forward to getting to know who you are.
